Aluminium windows by Warmcore are great. It took a lot of double checking the measurements which we got it right.
We ordered the 100mm insulation for the floor put it down with a 25mm insulation upstand and taped it all.
It was quite hard work cutting in the insulation around the uneven walls and even harder to cut out the channels in the insulation for the pipe work.
Hot and cold water pipes, and floor sockets were buried in the floor.
Using chalk on the pipes and rocking the insulation on it marked the insulation on the back side, and saved measuring the cuts.
Then we had to lay 1000 grade visqueen, and the underfloor heating was laid.
Innkeeper screed which is a few miles pumped 5.3 cumex of Gyvlon liquid screed, and now we have a flat floor apart from the step down into the bedrooms. We just have to remove the Latience - skin off the screed.
Next up is to stud the external walls and then we are into finishes.
Jen cutting in the insulation- we had very little waste
Pipework buried in the screed
Making the cuts in the back of the insulation use chalk on the-pies to mark the insulation and where it is complicated cut the insulation to a smaller size
Very neat job with a 25mm insulation upstand all round
The next job was to cover it all with visqueen and tape it up. The floor mounted sockets had to be covered up.
Underfloor pipe work being fitted
Negotiating the step it was easy
Swallows trying to nest
The manifold
Ready to screed
Screed Lorry
Pumping the screed
Job done just need to sand the screed
